I don’t talk about many K-Dramas on Centaku Media, but there is one in particular that caught my interest as of late, in part due to the swirling controversy surrounding the nature of the following show that we’re highlighting coming up soon in October, called Love in the Big City. This K-Drama, however, is different from your traditional K-Drama, as the subject matter involves the subject of Boys Love—or “BL” for short.

The Taiwanese drama It Started with a Kiss premiered on the CTA network, airing between September 25th, 2005 – February 12th, 2006. It is also based on a popular Japanese manga that received an anime adaptation in 2008, Itazura na Kiss. Dragon Ball Daima is a new and upcoming entry in the Dragon Ball anime universe that tells us the story of Goku and the gang from a different point of view. It is the last Dragon Ball anime to be directly supervised by Akira Toriyama who passed away this past March, and gives fans all the more reason to be excited for more Dragon Ball to honor the late creator this fall.

The Spring Anime Season of 2023 is almost over! Summer is just around the corner, and you now have a lot of free time for a few months until it’s time to go back to school—or whatever other situation that is not of any concern until Autumn. The latest Channel Surfing post is about a TV anime series that premiered on Netflix a while back called Carole & Tuesday. Directed by Shinichiro Watanabe of Cowboy Bebop anime fame, this anime is nothing like Cowboy Bebop at all but will have a familiar theme or two throughout the series–including one that is rarely incorporated into an anime that helped its success.
