Sony’ State of Play Announcements for January 2024

For those looking for the latest information concerning Sony’s live program showcasing the upcoming releases of the first half of 2024 for the PlayStation 5, look no further than the State of Play event.

Sony streamed their first State of Play event for 2024, highlighting some high-profile titles for the coming year being released on the PlayStation 5, even having a separate State of Play stream dedicated to an upcoming game that long-time fans of Final Fantasy will appreciate.

During the January 31 stream, Sony revealed trailers from upcoming titles for the PlayStation 5 including Stellar Blade, Silent Hill 2, and the sequel to Death Stranding. Additional trailers were also previewed of some up-and-coming games such as Dave the Diver, Judas, and Metro Awakening to name a few.

Additionally, Sony streamed a special State of Play revealing huge details on the upcoming Final Fantasy VII Rebirth game, releasing on February 29, 2024.
