The organizers of the JapanFest event held annually recently announced their dates for the 2024 show. The JapanFest event will be held at the Gas South Convention Center on September 21 & 22 in Duluth, GA.
JapanFest has been held in the Metro Atlanta area every year since 1981, with its beginnings as Japan Week, organized by the Consulate-General of Japan until rebranding as JapanFest in 1986. 2022 saw its most successful year with a move to the recently built Gas South Convention Center with a larger and expanded event space, accommodating better traffic flow and fewer lines, including a larger stage for additional performances and events.
JapanFest features everything celebrating Japanese culture, including Anime, Hands-On Workshops, Japanese Food, JBIG (Japanese Businesses in Georgia), and many more spanning two days.
