Studio Ghibli Fest 2025 Underway With The Secret World of Arrietty’s 15th Anniversary Release

Since 2017, Toho International’s North American film and television distribution wing, GKIDS, has put together a compilation of movies from the legendary Japanese animation powerhouse, Studio Ghibli, especially from legendary animator, Hayao Miyazaki, for the distributor’s annual Studio Ghibli Fest that can be seen for a limited time in select theaters in North America in nearly a year-long schedule.

Metrotham Con Goes Virtual + Outdoor Vendor Event

2020 is known as the year without conventions or any events to attend due to COVID-19 concerns. A lot of well known conventions such as MomoCon, Anime Expo, and now soon to be Anime Weekend Atlanta are hosting digital events in lieu of their traditional physical conventions. Metrotham Con is the latest convention to host a virtual event, as well as an outdoor event in Chattanooga.

Why Anime Con Goers Need to Attend Metrotham Con

I want to talk about Chattanooga’s newest multi-fandom convention, Metrotham Con, which will be returning for their second installment since the inaugural event in 2019. For those who have not been to a multi-fandom convention, it’s exactly what it is: an event where every fandom is celebrated, whether it is anime, gaming, sci-fi, or horror, a convention like Metrotham Con has it all.
