5 Reasons Why Gundam is Serious Business

In the past, I’ve been very vocal about my appreciation of the Gundam franchise. I was even invited to run a panel for our anime club back in 2009, inspiring a conversion into a three-part blog series on the how and why of Gundam; with recommendations of which Gundam TV anime to divulge into first, in a sea of multiple universes.

In an attempt to rekindle the passion of blogging again, I have remastered all the parts of the Gundam Crash Course series, originally targeted for the 40th anniversary of the franchise. Gundam SEED Really Needed a “Bright Slap”

In the past, I’ve discussed about how Gundam SEED did not appeal to me and that it was lacking for an overrated series. Whatever it lacked was enough for the newer fans… Pretty much every character in the series needed a good “Bright Slap” or two across the face… Which could have been one simple improvement for the series as a whole.

Gundam 101: Anime Crash Course – 2020 Edition: 2000-2009

Welcome to the second installment of the Gundam 101 series. In case you were wondering what this is all about, it is a “Crash Course” into the world of Gundam for first time viewers, or Gundam vets who are not up to date on their “Gundaming”.

On Monday, Part 1 went over Gundam series created from 1979 to 2000. Today, we will go over series made in 2000 to 2009. Friday will conclude the series as we take a look Gundam Movies and OVA (Original Video Animation) series.
