Preview: Dragon Ball Daima

Dragon Ball Daima is a new and upcoming entry in the Dragon Ball anime universe that tells us the story of Goku and the gang from a different point of view. It is the last Dragon Ball anime to be directly supervised by Akira Toriyama who passed away this past March, and gives fans all the more reason to be excited for more Dragon Ball to honor the late creator this fall.

Centaku Media Journal: Episode #31 [S3E7]

We also talk about Overwatch 2’s upcoming first Black Female hero, Sojourn, and the original singer of the popular Baby Shark song appears on a variety show and impresses the audience as a high school student!

MomoCon: What to Look Forward to in 2022?

After two years of lockdowns and shutdowns due to the Coronavirus pandemic, MomoCon is returning for a full weekend of activities and guests at the Georgia World Congress Center on the weekend of Memorial Day 2022. Since it’s been a while since a large-scale event like this has been held for anime fans and otaku in the Southeast US since Anime Weekend Atlanta last September, what do people out of “convention practice” look forward to for MomoCon 2022?

Metrotham Con Goes Virtual + Outdoor Vendor Event

2020 is known as the year without conventions or any events to attend due to COVID-19 concerns. A lot of well known conventions such as MomoCon, Anime Expo, and now soon to be Anime Weekend Atlanta are hosting digital events in lieu of their traditional physical conventions. Metrotham Con is the latest convention to host a virtual event, as well as an outdoor event in Chattanooga.

Interest Treasures: The 5 Best Dragon Ball Videos on YouTube

This is another entry into a new series called “Interest Treasures”, where I highlight something that not many people know about within a fandom–that even the fandom doesn’t know about–within a geeky–or for the sake of this blog: an Otaku interest.
