This past summer the Final Fantasy convention ran by fans, for fans, KupoCon, announced an awards event called “The Crystals”, awarding the best of the Final Fantasy franchise in various categories. The nominees were selected and voted upon where the final winners was selected early in October.

This is the re-inaugural episode of the Centaku Media podcast, which is a reboot of “The CEN.TAKU.ME Podcast” that was started a little over a decade ago, with only a few episodes released. The following was published back in 2009 after this game in the Blue Dragon franchise was released in North America, and with many thanks to the marketing agency RocketXL for making this possible, I was able to get a hands-on review! Blue Dragon Plus for the Nintendo DS is the sequel to the Xbox 360 game created by the father of Final Fantasy, Hironobu Sakaguchi, music from the legendary Nobuo Uematsu, and character design by Akira Toriyama of Dragon Ball fame. It is the perfect alternative for fans of the Blue Dragon anime who have yet to play the first Blue Dragon game.

On March 2nd, Square-Enix surprised us with a demo of the upcoming, highly anticipated revisit of the beloved entry in the franchise, Final Fantasy VII Remake. It’s cool that Square is giving fans a little gift considering the game was pushed to April. Despite the huge following, will fans accept the modern changes when it comes to the mechanics?
