Behold! The Mega Mac! It’s a bigger version of McDonald’s famous “Big Mac” Sandwiches–and it’s only available in Japan. Looking at this makes me hungry. Eating this would probably make you full for a few days! Don’t think that it will be coming to the US, or anywhere else soon. I can just see all the lawsuits…
I posted on my Twitter a while back of an acquisition of exciting proportions! It’s a key to an upcoming adventure coming later in 2019 that will change my life as I have made it to Level 30 on this planet. I have obtained my very first passport! It took a year, maybe more, or debate of where I should go for my first out of country trip. Back in February 2018, I made a personal accomplishment by attending 20 K-Pop concerts since 2012. The first K-Pop concert I ever attended was BIGBANG‘s first world tour, held at the Prudential Center in Newark, NJ. Since then, a close friend made it an effort to attend as many K-Pop concerts as physically and financially possible. Even if it’s not “In Your Area”.
In the mid-2000s, before I launched the original Centaku Media blog, I used to highlight horrible players for the pettiest things done upon unsuspecting players, including getting kicked from a Linkshell in Final Fantasy XI because of “spies”, and myself getting told I needed to heal more, playing a level 20 Red Mage, from a Monk player of the same level, getting removed from the party immediately after announcing I had to log off for the day.
In the time since, many game companies have announced efforts to curb toxicity in many of their hit games, such as League of Legends and Overwatch, and more recently Final Fantasy XIV. After relaunching Centaku Media, I’ve struggled as to whether to return to my “roots” of doing such a thing. While I do not like to encourage witch hunts of sorts, it has to be known of what the offending player did, because they can easily get away with their actions due to the fact that they are hiding behind a fictional 3D character with a name (and behavior) that one does not use in the real world when applying for a job, or buying a car.
This is a story that I’m pretty sure everyone can relate to (and one which will especially explain my absence for so long) when it comes to working in the retail industry. I originally thought of just writing this as a personal Facebook post, but it would be too long… So why not share with the general public to inspire one another to get through their own struggles? Just in time for the Retail Holiday Season of 2018, I bring you a story of struggle and eventually triumph.
