Gundam SEED Really Needed a “Bright Slap”

In the past, I’ve discussed about how Gundam SEED did not appeal to me and that it was lacking for an overrated series. Whatever it lacked was enough for the newer fans… Pretty much every character in the series needed a good “Bright Slap” or two across the face… Which could have been one simple improvement for the series as a whole.

“We Need A Healer!” – #PoorSportsmanship

In the mid-2000s, before I launched the original Centaku Media blog, I used to highlight horrible players for the pettiest things done upon unsuspecting players, including getting kicked from a Linkshell in Final Fantasy XI because of “spies”, and myself getting told I needed to heal more, playing a level 20 Red Mage, from a Monk player of the same level, getting removed from the party immediately after announcing I had to log off for the day.

In the time since, many game companies have announced efforts to curb toxicity in many of their hit games, such as League of Legends and Overwatch, and more recently Final Fantasy XIV. After relaunching Centaku Media, I’ve struggled as to whether to return to my “roots” of doing such a thing. While I do not like to encourage witch hunts of sorts, it has to be known of what the offending player did, because they can easily get away with their actions due to the fact that they are hiding behind a fictional 3D character with a name (and behavior) that one does not use in the real world when applying for a job, or buying a car.

The Sights of Anime Weekend Atlanta 2018

This is follow-up video to the convention recap for Anime Weekend Atlanta 2018. With the recap itself recorded longer than I anticipated, I felt it would be easier to make a seperate video of the sights (and some sounds) of the con. I did not record EVERY moment of the con, but I hope it enough to satisfy to wanting to go to the con–if anyone is wanting to go to this con in particular, new or veteran con attendee. Please enjoy! ^_^

Unfollowing Twitter Users After 10+ Years

September 29th marks the 11th anniversary (or #Twitterversary) since I registered an account on Twitter. And the timing is perfect as I finally got the nerves to return to the microblogging platform and clear nearly 400 Twitter accounts from my feed.

Well, not EVERYONE. Just the ones who betrayed me. 😀

Not really. 😀

I UNFOLLOWED EVERYONE FROM TWITTER!

After having a Twitter account for 11 years, and neglecting it for 6, I have decided to have a heartbreak road trip and unfollowed the people who are either no longer following back or no longer of use, for a fresh start. I originally started the unfollow process on August 20th with very close to 400 followers; for an example, 388 is what I remembered as I used various apps with ridiculous limitations, until I found what worked for a reasonable fee.

I Googled “mass unfollowing Twitter followers” and found tools that promised what I was looking for. But, there was a problem: the tools either had ridiculous limitations, or to lift the limitations, the service asked for too much for a subscription fee for something that was only going to take less than 45 minutes at best.

For this occasion, I made a video explaining how I felt to be finally able to breathe again after neglecting my account for so long, as well as the practice of “churning” Twitter followers. (As read below.)
