Eorzea Journal #4 – The Struggle Is Real
Since my last update, I made a lot of progress on my path to finishing the base Heavensward content on my way to playing the current Shadowbringers expansion. As of this writing, I have FINALLY finished the Heavensward Main Scenario Quests! Although there is still work to be done: there’s the patch content that needs to be explored, called the “Dragon Song War”.

So, here it is… a long waited post after the last post. It’s been a long time since I’ve done a written update of my progress in Final Fantasy XIV that I don’t even know where to begin, and not to mention the fact that I’ve made huge progress between my time playing through A Realm Reborn content up to Heavensward. In my attempt to catch up to the content of the current Shadowbringers expansion pack, a lot of my progress was televised on Twitch. However, in my attempt to better my productivity, I have decided to return to my roots with written content, with the occasional video update once in a while.

On March 2nd, Square-Enix surprised us with a demo of the upcoming, highly anticipated revisit of the beloved entry in the franchise, Final Fantasy VII Remake. It’s cool that Square is giving fans a little gift considering the game was pushed to April. Despite the huge following, will fans accept the modern changes when it comes to the mechanics?

The anime Welcome to the NHK (or NHK ni Youkoso! in Japanese) is a series that caught my attention back in 2006 when it first aired. It was also one of the first anime series I wrote about on an anime-centric Blogspot blog “NAKIME” before Centaku Media was launched the following year. And what inspired me to revisit the anime is all due to the current events of the Coronavirus, aka COVID-19, where it is strongly urged to limit social interactions, better yet–not leaving the house at all, whether quarantined or not. Although this anime has nothing to do with the current situation, it’s a timely opportunity to look at the life of a shut-in, for better or worse.

Hello! I haven’t had a proper written update about the adventures of Nakaichi Epion on Famfrit in a while, other than pushing her through in Heavensward content (finally!) back in the late Summer of 2019. I figured now would be a good time to explain my intentions with future streams of my Final Fantasy XIV progression, which would mean more content to indulge in the future, but through other mediums.

One game comes to mind when I think of the 2010s, and the one game I’m thinking about is an unlikely title for some, which was however released in 2008, and in the 3rd Quarter of 2009 outside of Japan. The game is Dissidia: Final Fantasy, which marks the first fighting game featuring the cast from the Final Fantasy franchise, ala Super Smash Bros. and the vs. Capcom series (although veteran fans may present that the arcade game Ehrgeiz is the first of its kind from the late 90s, featuring the inclusion of Final Fantasy VII characters in the Playstation release) In 2008, the first entry of the Dissidia series was released for the Playstation Portable, and featured the main character and their respective villain from every Final Fantasy game from I to XII only. That changed a little bit when the second entry and prequel, Dissidia 012: Final Fantasy, was released in 2011.

If you’re like me and your life is in perpetual chaos, then you might want to sit down and consider possible solutions to make life easier all around when it comes to performing housework. Let’s say you’re a part-time employee, you work only up to six hours a day, maybe more if there’s a lot to be done, then you come home and suddenly don’t feel like doing things for yourself, which actually can set you up for disaster later on. And by later on, I mean minutes, hours, days, weeks, months, and even years.
