Conventions and Events Postponed or Canceled Due to COVID-19 Outbreak (Updated)

Update 4/5/2020: Due to the current impact of the outbreak, I have not been able to keep up with the events that have been delayed. But it is safe to say that many events scheduled between April and June have been called off. However, I will check in to relay news of conventions and events happening beyond June based on the level of the virus activity. Stay safe, everyone!

#PoorSportsmanship: Weeaboo Stories, or: “How NOT to be an Otaku”

Note: This was originally written on September 21st, 2011 and is republished for archival purposes. By the time I posted this, the Tumblr account for Weeaboo Stories was taken down, likely for obvious reasons. This post originally included links to the account, but not even the Wayback Machine has them. Channel Surfing: Mobile Suit Gundam 00 S2

A part of this post was written way back in the day, or more like when Mobile Suit Gundam 00 first aired in Japan, and when fansubs were a huge deal. However, this is more relevant due to the fact that I finally finished watching the second season of Gundam 00 after sitting on it for a little over a decade, with the climax of the first season’s finale still fresh in my mind–to an extent.
