Mobile Suit Gundam Wing: Frozen Teardrop [Novel Impressions]

This post was originally published in June 2013. In honor of 2020 being the 25th anniversary of Gundam Wing, here is the republication of my review of the novel sequel to Gundam Wing, Frozen Teardrop.

Important: since it’s been so long since I read what was translated in the novels, I made a slight error that was pointed out by a commenter on the previous blog. I still have the comment somewhere in the massive MySQL file that I managed to save, but it’s buried in my to-do list of other things I got caught up in. Then I saw “anime series”, and had to drop everything I was doing at the moment to check it out.

Mobile Suit Abridged Gundam Wing [Channel Surfing]

I was deciding whether to talk about this within the Channel Surfing series, or outside of it as a separate post, considering the nature of this next entry I am about to talk about. If you’ve been here for a minute, you can probably tell that I am a huge advocate of the Gundam franchise, and especially of the series that started me on the course of what the franchise has to offer: Gundam Wing.

Music Spotlight: Deavid Soul’s “Miller Boll Breakers”

For those who are fans of House music or something of the like, here is one that needs to be taken into consideration, especially if you ever owned a Sega Dreamcast. Back in 2008, I wrote about my discovery of an album from an artist(s) going by Deavid Soul, who was featured in the popular (and underrated) skating/graffiti tagging game, Jet Set Radio (originally known as Jet Grind Radio in North America).
